Abstract:
An ongoing solutions manual for the textbook on the Introduction to Algebraic Topology by J. J. Rothman,Springer-Verlag, 1998 (including concepts of category theory,natural transformations, covering spaces, homology theory, homotopy groups, cohomology theory,cohomology rings, homology theory, covering homotopy lemma, exact homology sequences, simplexes, complexes, natural chain equivalence, closed edge path, Seifert-van Kampen, exact sequences and excision; based on a two-semester course at beginning graduate level, requiring pre-requisites in point set topology/general topology and also basic (abstract) algebra; geometric and analytical origins of various concepts in algebraic topology).
