Abstract:
This is a PDF file electronic document, typewritten in French of the 1960-1961 famous seminars in Algebraic Geometry and Analytical Geometry directed/organized and contributed to by Alexander Grothendieck on a very wide range of topics in: Algebraic Geometry, Categorical Galois theory, Descent Theory, Fundamental Functors, fundamental groupoids, fundamental groups, Analytical Geometry, and much more, over 500 Mb of typewritten pages, photocopied and scanned into PDF format (in places these original documents may be hard to read). sga1: ``REVETEMENTS ETALES ET GROUPE FONDAMENTALE (SGA 1)''. with two additions presented by Mme. M. Raynaud . Socie'te' Mathe'matique de France (SMF)'s Abstract in 2003: ``Reve'tements e'tales et groupe fondamental (SGA 1) This volume is a new updated edition of the book ``Reve'tements E'tales et Groupe Fondamental'', Lecture Notes in Mathematics, 224, Springer-Verlag, Berlin-Heidelberg-New York, 1971, by Alexander Grothendieck et al. The text presents the foundations of a theory of the fundamental group in Algebraic Geometry from the Kronecker point of view, allowing one to treat on an equal footing the case of an algebraic variety in the usual sense, and that of the ring of integers in a number field, for instance. Key words: etale' morphism, smooth morphism, flat morphism, scheme, fundamental group, covering, theory of descent.
