Fermi-Dirac distribution (Definition)

The Fermi-Dirac distribution gives the probability of a fermion occupying a Microstate with energy $\epsilon$ and chemical potential $\mu$ at a temperature T. It is:

$\displaystyle f(\epsilon) = \frac{1}{1+exp(\frac{\epsilon - \mu}{kT})} $
