As I remember, sometimes due to some terrible unknown (to me) instabilities in PM the image disappeared from time to time, leaving the name instead. I am not really sure that one should make a pic istead of the name parent. On one hand it is somehow more convenient (PP looks similar to PM), but on the other hand on PM I never knew that this pic actually means link to something! :)))) But defenitely "parent" is too long.
