An application of non-Newtonian calculus to the study of numerical solutions to multiplicative differential equations was made by Emine Misirli and Yusuf Gurefen (both of Ege University in Turkey). [84]

An application of non-Newtonian calculus to the study of pathogen counts in treated water was made by James D. Englehardt (University of Miami) and Ruochen Li (Shenzhen, China). [85]
