| A useful start in answering your question is
"Exponential representations of the canonical commutation relations", by Fabrey, James Douglas (1969), a PhD Thesis from MIT, that can be found at:
http://hdl.handle.net/1721.1/39977
http://dspace.mit.edu/bitstream/handle/1721.1/39977/30017852.pdf?sequence=1

Perhaps a more useful paper is the recent clear presentation by Asao ARAI in Nonlinear Mathematical Physics 1995, V.2, N 3–4, 247–262. "Representation of Canonical Commutation Relations in a Gauge Theory, the Aharonov-Bohm Effect, and the Dirac-Weyl Operator."
Hope this helps,
