``Vector relations''

| Hi all. There are many vector relations that are necessary for the exposition of the topics here on PlanetPhysics. I've begun writing some entries on classical mechanics, and find myself either defining relations within the article, or simply stating them. Do you think that it would be helpful to have a handful of articles on some of the more common vector relations? I know that one could easily go over to PlanetMath and probably find the same material, but since such relations are so important in physics, maybe we should have them as entries here as well (with an emphasis on providing examples of where these relations are used). Any opinions on this would be appreciated. I'd hate to write up a few articles on the maths, and have them be out of place, or not keeping with the spirit of the site.
Cheers, Michael |
