First, you should send an email from their website as you mentioned above and see if you get a reply.  We can then go from there.  You should definately try to contact them since it is the author's responsibility on PlanetPhysics to handle copyright (but we can help)

If you look on Amazon and look inside the book you will notice that amazon put a copyright notice on each page, so my guess is that it is copyrighted.

Remember you can also help by just writing your own articles about physics :) maybe even along the lines of your thesis.  Later.

Testing some escape charachters for html category with a generator has an injective cogenerator" now escape ” with "
