Schrodinger equation, Hamiltonian by bloftin on 2006-01-19 14:38:01
The C, is usually denoted by E and is just a constant.  The right hand side of the equation is what I thought was the Hamiltonian and the C is usually called something like 'energy eigenvalues' so you would get something like H\psi = E\psi where E is equal to C in this case.  So I do not think there is a minus sign error, but I could be wrong (Or just a symantics thing) so feel free to discuss it.  Thanks.
