To be consistent with the entries "acceleration" and "position", please change the beginning of the second paragraph to:
The SI unit of velocity is $\mathrm{m/s}$ (metres per second). Other units of velocity are also used, such as kilometres per hour ($\mathrm{km/h}$) and the speed of light, $c=299\,792\,458\;\mathrm{m/s}$. |
