I don't know what is the common style in Physics for typesetting documents, but to me it seems that numerating all equations in the text is not really necessary: only numerating equations on which there will be reference, shows automatically the reader the relevant ones.

Yes, I beleive you are correct.  Every equation does not need a label.  This was due to my lack of knowledge of LaTex.  I have updated this entry without the labels.  Thanks.
