In the last paragraph there seems to be a minor typo:
" These constants have the follofing interpretation: $ A$ is the amplitude of the oscillation. "
should read:
" These constants have the following interpretation..."
changed the f to a w.
Also, I am not sure I follow the first sentence of the paragraph previous
to this one:
"Either of these solutions shows that the period of oscillation is $ \omega$ (independent of the period)."
Do you really mean 'the _period_ of oscillation' ?
